Adam Tanverdi

Adam Tanverdi has a diverse and extensive work experience. Adam currently works as a Contract Manager/Project Manager at Native American Industrial Solutions LLC (NAIS) since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager Program Management Office at AURA Network Systems from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they developed tools and plans to address project management challenges and facilitated the onboarding and training of new projects.

From 2016 to 2020, Adam worked at SAIC, where they held various roles including Program Manager, Team Lead, Systems Engineer, and Analyst. Adam led a project team, acted as a liaison between teams and leadership, and conducted customer cyber tabletop exercises.

Before joining SAIC, Adam worked at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) from 2012 to 2016 as a Team Lead and Cyber Range Liaison. Adam managed cybersecurity risk assessments and delivered cyber range services to major acquisition programs.

In 2010, Adam served as a Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State, and from 2007 to 2010, they were a System Engineer at Boeing, where they supported mission operations and conducted training.

Adam's career started in the United States Air Force, where they served as a Special Operations Officer from 2001 to 2007.

Adam Tanverdi has a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science degree in Operations Management and Supervision from the University of Arkansas from 2005 to 2006. Adam'sBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering was earned from the University of Delaware, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Adam Tanverdi also holds several certifications, including Program Management Level I, Radar Systems, System Engineer Level I, and Test & Evaluation Level III. These certifications were obtained from various institutions such as the United States Department of the Navy and the Georgia Tech Research Institute. Adam also completed a certification in Human Resource Management from the University of Arkansas and worked as an Engineer Intern for the State of Delaware in 2000.
