Mutasem al Hourani

Mutasem Al Hourani has extensive experience in the construction and procurement industry. Mutasem is currently the Director of Construction Contracts at Nakheel, a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Associate Director of Construction Contracts and Procurement and Contracts at Nakheel from July 2021 to August 2023.

Before joining Nakheel, Mutasem worked at MS Construction- Meydan Group as the Head of Procurement and Contracts from September 2018 to June 2021. Mutasem also held the position of Senior Contracts Manager at MS Construction- Meydan Group from December 2017 to October 2018.

Mutasem's earlier professional experiences include serving as a Senior Contracts/Commercial Manager at Consolidated Contractors International Company from May 2016 to December 2017. Mutasem was the Head of Contracts and Tendering at the Department of Education And Knowledge - ADEK from February 2010 to April 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Cost and Contracts Specialist at KBR, Inc. from August 2007 to February 2009. Mutasem started their career as a Procurement Manager at Consolidated Contractors International Company from May 1998 to July 2007.

Mutasem Al Hourani completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Jordan between 1992 and 1998.
