Matthew Mahlin

Aerospace Research Engineer

Matthew Mahlin is an experienced Aerospace Research Engineer at NASA, focusing on carbon-carbon composites for robotic systems in in-space assembly since June 2015. Notable contributions include leading testing for the TALISMAN robotic arm and previously serving as a Trainee Engineer in the Prototype Development Lab, where Matthew designed command consoles for the Launch Control Center. Prior to NASA, Matthew interned at NASA Langley Research Center, conducting high-temperature materials research and developing indoor GPS emulation for robotics.
