Sugang Xu

Sugang Xu has been a Research Manager at NICT since April 2005, focusing on algorithms, network architectures, and photonic network control, with particular interests in high availability of photonic networks and robust network architecture since 2012. Prior to this role, Sugang Xu served as a Research Associate at GITI/GITS, Waseda University, from April 2002 to March 2005, where research involved optical network planning and administration. Sugang Xu holds a Ph.D. in Electronics, Information and Communications Engineering from The University of Tokyo, earned between 1999 and 2002.
