Bathsheba Philpott, CFRE, has extensive experience in fundraising and philanthropy. Bathsheba is currently the President and Principal Consultant at Fundraising Guru Consulting LLC, a role they have held since June 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Philanthropy at National Medical Fellowships, Inc. starting in January 2023.

From April 2021 to January 2023, Bathsheba was the Vice President, Advancement at the American Council on Education. Before this, they held various positions at the same company, including Vice President, Advancement from October 2018 to June 2020 and Assistant Vice President, Advancement from March 2017 to September 2018.

Their work experience also includes being the Director, Institutional Giving at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences from July 2013 to March 2017, and Director, Foundation Relations at the Smithsonian Institution from July 2011 to July 2013.

Bathsheba Philpott, CFRE, has a diverse education history spanning various fields of study. In 2005, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In 2007, they pursued and achieved the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation from CFRE International. Continuing their professional development, in 2008, Bathsheba obtained the Grants Professionals Certification from the Grants Professionals Certification Institute, and they also completed an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University within the same year. Moving forward, in 2016, they received a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health. To further broaden their skillset, in 2018 and 2019, Bathsheba pursued a Certificate in Interior Design from the New York Institute of Art + Design.

Moreover, they have obtained additional certifications throughout their career. In 2007, Bathsheba obtained the Certification Fund Raising Professional (CFRE) designation from CFRE International. Furthermore, in 2008, they achieved the Grant Professionals Certification from the Grants Professionals Certification Institute. Most recently, in 2020, Bathsheba acquired the RIDQC (Residential Interior Design Qualifying Certification) from the Design Society of America.

In 2022, Bathsheba is expected to complete a professional development program in Business Administration and Management, General, through the Harvard Division of Continuing Education.
