Debbie Drell is currently the Director of Membership Services at the National Organization for Rare Disorders. Debbie has been working in the non-profit sector for over 20 years. Debbie started their career as a Campus Organizer with the Feminist Majority in 1999. In 2002, they became the West Coast Campus Director for the Feminist Majority Foundation. In 2004, Debbie joined Pulmonary Hypertension Association as their Senior Director. In 2014, Debbie became Chair of the Public Advisory Roundtable for the American Thoracic Society. Debbie has dedicated their career to working with non-profit organizations that are focused on helping people with respiratory diseases, sleep-related conditions, and related critical illnesses.
Debbie Drell has a BS in Anthropology from UC Irvine, a degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Kent, and a certification from the CITI Program in Social and Behavioral Research. Debbie also has a certification from the CITI Program in COVID-19: Insights for Higher Ed Leaders, a certification from the CITI Program in Participating in Vaccine Research, and a certification from the CITI Program in Remote Contact Tracing. Additionally, Debbie Drell has a Coursera Course Certificate in Initiating and Planning Projects.
