The Director of Quality Improvement (DQI) is responsible for ensuring that all NEEDS Center programs meet and maintain performance standards for licensing, accreditation, and requirements as outlined in DDS contracts. This position requires the employee to be highly detailed and organized.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete regular on-site compliance audits in all MA programs and submit reports to Senior Administration.

  • Travel to the Florida division one week bimonthly to complete on-site audits.

  • Oversee the HCSIS documentation of the agency by reviewing daily alerts in system and notifying appropriate staff on impending deadlines for ISP documentation and the finalization of documentation.

  • Prepare documentation and reports for QI reporting and chair the QI and Compliance meetings.

  • Maintain all QI databases and analyze outcomes based on data collected.

  • Prepares and ensures compliance for all licensing Audits.

  • Provide staff training including but not limited to the following areas: QI, ISP documentation, incident reporting, HIPPA.

  • Conduct regular satisfaction surveys and follow up on identified trends.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Administration in preparation of all licensing and accreditations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of three years in Human Services in the areas of Quality Management or Residential/Day Program Management.

  • Strong knowledge of DDS, APD regulations and HCSIS.

  • Experience with the Licensing process (DDS, CARF, APD, IB)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office. Strong Excel skills are required for this position.

  • Driver’s license required.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
