Katerina Peña

Katerina Peña is an experienced environmental analyst currently contracted with the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management through NEIWPCC, focusing on the Underground Storage Tanks program. Prior experience includes serving as an Auditor II and Auditor I in the Office of the Auditor Diana DiZoglio, with responsibilities that included training staff on analytical software and conducting audits of state entities. Katerina also held the roles of Project Manager and Team Leader for a successful proposal initiative in the State of Rhode Island and led the Health & Beauty department at Ocean State Job Lot. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration and a Graduate Certificate in GIS and Geospatial Technologies from the University of Rhode Island, alongside dual Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Science and International Nongovernmental Organizations from Rhode Island College.
