Andrea Stancati M.D. has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Starting in 1999, they worked as a Rheumatologist and Researcher at the University of Ancona, where they focused on outcome measures and clinimetrics. They also worked in private practice as a Consultant Rheumatologist before joining UCB Pharma as a Country Medical Manager and later as a Country Medical Director in the field of Inflammation. At Novo Nordisk, they served as a Vice President of Global Clinical Development in Inflammation and Growth Hormone, focusing on autoimmune-inflammatory diseases. They also held leadership positions at UCB, where they worked on the clinical strategy and pipeline maximization in Immunology. Most recently, they worked at Takeda as a Vice President and Global Medical Franchise Head for Gastroenterology, responsible for global medical affairs activity and elevating GMA to a core function. Currently, Andrea Stancati is working at the Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca as a Faculty Member.

Andrea Stancati M.D. obtained an MD and a European Medical License in Medicine & Surgery from Università degli Studi di Parma, where they studied from 1993 to 1999. In 2000, they received an additional certification in the form of a European Medical License from Ministero Istruzione, Università e Ricerca. From 2000 to 2003, Andrea attended Università Politecnica delle Marche, where they earned a European Legal Certification of Specialist in Rheumatology.
