Carter Farris has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They began their professional career as a Jugger at Pinch A Penny Pool Patio Spa in 2016 before transitioning to an IT Intern role at Marco Ophthalmic in 2017. In 2019, Carter worked as an IT Intern at iVenture Solutions. They then joined the University of North Florida in 2020, initially as an IT Systems Analyst Intern before becoming a Software Engineer. In 2021, Carter worked at RSI as an Associate Site Reliability Engineer before joining Net Health as a DevOps Engineer II, where they have focused on creating application environments in Azure using Terraform, converting on-premise applications to cloud-native solutions, and collaborating with development teams to create build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps.

Carter Farris obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology from the University of North Florida, where they studied from 2017 to 2020. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications throughout the years. In 2015, they obtained the Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA): Security Fundamentals certification. In 2016, they obtained three more MTA certifications: Networking Fundamentals, Windows Server Administration Fundamentals, and Security Fundamentals. In 2017, they obtained the Security+ CE certification from CompTIA. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained two certifications: the OnBase Certified API Developer from Hyland and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft.
