Since our MIT origins in 2008, we’ve partnered with medical professionals to provide patients with custom-fit orthotics, sporting goods brands to equip NFL & NCAA players with custom-fit helmets, and fashion brands like Victoria's Secret to ensure shoppers are happy with the fit of their online purchases. All of this is enabled by our world-class, smartphone-based 3D body scanning technology, commercially known as CurveCapture® (medical) and Verifyt® (retail). 

About the role: We're seeking a strategic and data-driven Digital Marketing Director to join our team to lead our consumer-facing efforts. As our Digital Marketing Director, you'll spearhead our digital marketing efforts, specifically focusing on paid channels, to set ambitious growth targets and devise a comprehensive go-to-market strategy. This is a collaborative position that also requires a high degree of independent work due to the nature of our small team. The Digital Marketing Director will report to the Director of Growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention for our app.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of all digital marketing channels including paid media, paid search, paid social, SEO/SEM, ASO, and more.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other facets of the marketing team (Influencer, Content, Social Media) to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Build and lead the digital marketing team.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, continuously optimizing campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate digital marketing into broader marketing initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Manage digital marketing budgets and allocate resources efficiently to drive results.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in digital marketing
  • 3 years of management experience, with experience in managing digital marketers.
  • Proven track record of success in digital marketing roles, preferably within the B2C space and with experience in app or tech company marketing.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing trends, channels, and best practices.
  • Passion for fashion, technology, and innovation, with a keen understanding of consumer behavior and trends in the fashion industry is a plus.
