Fabian Abel

Fabian Abel has a diverse work experience starting from their PhD studies in 2007. Fabian worked as a PhD student and a Web Science Researcher at Leibniz Universität Hannover and L3S Research Center respectively. In 2010, they became a postdoc at TU Delft. Abel then joined Twitcident as a Data Engineer in 2011. Fabian transitioned to XING in 2012, where they held various roles including Data Scientist, Team Lead Data Science, and ultimately Director Data Science. In 2019, Abel moved to NEW WORK SE, where they served as Director Data Science and later assumed the role of Director Data - Jobs Marketplace in 2022.

Fabian Abel completed their education at Leibniz Universität Hannover. Fabian earned a Ph.D. in Data Mining and Information Retrieval from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a M.Sc. in Computer Science from 2001 to 2006.
