Channing Chin has extensive experience in the field of bariatric surgery. They started their career as an M.D./Surgeon at UMDNJ University Hospital in 2005 and worked there until 2010. Following that, they joined The NEW Program as a Bariatric Surgery Fellow from 2010 to 2011. Channing then worked as a Bariatric Surgeon at Western Bariatric, AMC from 2011 to 2018. In 2018, they joined New York Bariatric Group, where they held the positions of Bariatric Surgeon and Medical Director of Bariatric & Specialty Surgery Center of Paramus. Additionally, in 2019, they became the Director of Bariatric Surgery at St. Mary's General Hospital.
Channing Chin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Louisiana State University from 1997 to 2001. Following that, from 2001 to 2005, Channing attended St George's University School of Medicine and earned an MD degree in Medicine.
