Rob Taylor

Acting Deputy Chief Executive at New Zealand Foreign Affairs & Trade

Rob is a career diplomat with the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Before his current role he was Divisional Manager Europe Division.

Earlier assignments have included Deputy High Commissioner and Head of Post in London, Director and Chief of Protocol, High Commissioner to Vanuatu, Consul General Los Angeles, as well as postings to Samoa, Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

Outside of the Ministry, Rob has served as Official Secretary to the Governor-General of New Zealand and worked for the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.
