Nicole Bertrand's work experience includes various roles in software development, teaching, and curriculum development. Beginning in 2015, they worked as an 8th grade math challenge geometry pre-practicum student teacher at Dedham Middle School. In 2016, they became a pre-calculus and algebra II student teacher at Waltham Sr High School. Nicole then transitioned into a high school mathematics and computer science teaching role at the same school from 2016 to 2020. Additionally, Nicole served as the Girls Who Code Boston Site Lead in 2018. In 2020, they pursued further education by attending the UNH Coding Boot Camp as a student. Nicole Bertrand obtained a Dual Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education from Boston College, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In 2018, they pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics Education at Boston University, completing their studies in 2020. Additionally, Nicole attended UNSW in 2014, although specific details about their degree or field of study are not provided.
