Tarek Aghenda has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2009, Tarek worked as an Administrative Retention Center Administrator at Cofely Services France. In 2010, they took on a part-time role as a Sales Representative at Orange while pursuing their master's degree. From 2011 to 2012, Tarek served as a Communication Assistant at Bouygues Telecom, where they managed technology research and provided technical support. In 2012, they joined Business France (Export) as a Marketing and Business Development Specialist, advising startups on go-to-market strategies. Tarek continued their journey at Business France, taking on roles as a Marketing and CRM Specialist and Senior Marketing and Lead Generation Specialist. In 2016, Tarek initiated an e-commerce experiment called "Happy Cat Tree," leveraging social media marketing. Tarek then worked briefly as an EMEA Marketing Executive at Kemp in 2019 before joining Newpharma. At Newpharma, Tarek held the positions of Head of Outbound Marketing and Data Strategy and Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing the implementation of data strategies and transforming data into actionable insights.

Tarek Aghenda began their education in 2002 at Lycée Dhuoda, where they pursued a Baccalauréat Scientifique with a focus on sciences de l'ingénieur. Tarek completed this degree in 2005. Following their graduation, they attended Lycée Dhuoda again from 2005 to 2008, where they studied Classe Préparatoire aux Grandes Écoles, specializing in PTSI/PT. In 2008, Tarek enrolled at Télécom SudParis, where they obtained their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Telecommunication Engineer Engineer - International Business in 2012.
