Catherine Kahabuka, MD, PhD, is a seasoned healthcare consultant with extensive experience in research and evaluation within the health systems arena. As the Founder and Lead Consultant of CREMES International since June 2020, Catherine has provided technical leadership for various projects, including leading a blanket purchase agreement for USAID-Tanzania and supporting evaluations of health initiatives such as the Trek temperature monitoring device. Catherine has also established the CREMES Research Mentorship Program to enhance research capacity across multiple African countries. Previous roles include consulting for organizations such as ICF Macro, Itad, UNICEF, and the Population Council, contributing to significant evaluations and capacity-building efforts in family planning and adolescent health. Catherine holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Systems and a Master's degree in International Public Health from the University of Bergen, as well as a Bachelor Degree in Medicine from Muhimbili University.
