Medical Scientist at Next Biosciences

Sanisha Naidoo has a diverse work experience in the field of science and research. Sanisha currently works at Next Biosciences as a Medical Scientist since February 2023. Prior to that, they gained practical experience as an Intern Medical Scientist at the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) from February 2021 to January 2023. During their internship, they were actively involved in laboratory-based surveillance and outbreak detection of enteric bacterial pathogens. Sanisha also received training in biosafety and biosecurity at the Division of Biosafety and Biosecurity at NICD.

Sanisha Naidoo completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 2011 to 2013.
