Ben Xu has a diverse work experience in various industries. Ben started their career in 2012 as a Regional Export Manager at Shanghai Oriental Heavy Industry Machinery Co., Ltd. In 2013, they moved on to become the Director of Operations at Macarena Restaurant Management Co., Ltd. Ben then joined NEXT Electric Motors in 2017, where they served as a Co-Founder and a member of the Board of Directors. Additionally, they took on the role of Director at Mingjie Stone in 2017, where they previously served as a Business Development Manager from 2016 to 2017.

Ben Xu has a diverse education history. Ben completed their Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in International Business with Marketing at Regent's University London from 2008 to 2011. In 2010, they participated in an International Exchange Program at Nanjing University, studying Chinese Language and Literature. During the same year, they also took part in another International Exchange Program at Zhejiang Gongshang University, where they studied International Business, Marketing, and Chinese language.

Later, in 2015, Ben Xu pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Online MBA in International Hospitality & Service Industries Management from the Glion Institute of Higher Education. In the same period, they also completed a Master's Degree, specifically a Certificate in International Hotel Management for Professionals (part-time), at Les Roches Jin Jiang International Hotel Management College.

Additionally, Ben Xu has earned several certifications. In December 2017, they obtained certifications in Digital Marketing from IAB, Introduction to Web Development (Online) from the University of Alicante, Mobile App Development (Online) from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Web Analytics from Escuela de Organización Industrial, and E-Commerce (Online) from Escuela de Organización Industrial.
