Satinder Gill

Satinder Gill is a research scientist at NIRSense Inc since March 2024 and a product development scientist at Virginia Commonwealth University since July 2020, specializing in assistive technologies for blind and visually impaired individuals. Experience includes leading research teams at Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center for gait rehabilitation technologies and developing smart IoT medical devices during a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of New Brunswick. Satinder has co-founded Trispectra Innovation Inc., serving as CTO and driving product design and development. Academic contributions include teaching engineering courses at various institutions and supervising large classes of students. Satinder holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of New Brunswick and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Information Technology from the American Public University System.
