Darko Popic

Darko Popic is an experienced professional in the field of geology and petroleum engineering, currently serving as the Lead Specialist for Chemical Treatment of Oil Wells at NIS Gazprom Neft since January 2017, where responsibilities include analyzing fluids and chemicals for workover operations and designing lab experiments to assess their effects on reservoir properties. Previous roles include Well Site Drilling Engineer/Geologist at Stag Geological Services Limited and Consultant Well Site Engineer at Maersk Oil, where support was provided to manage rig operations and prepare essential documentation. Darko also has extensive experience as a Unit Manager/Data Engineer at Geoservices, overseeing drilling data and crew management in offshore Gabon and other regions, and has held positions as a Geologist/Hydrogeologist at Naftagas. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Belgrade and a high school diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technical School "Rade Koncar."
