Shakaib Farooqui has a diverse work experience in the field of Human Resources and People & Culture. Shakaib started their career in 2010 as a Call Center Executive at The F Source Communication Call Centre. In 2014, they interned at Merck PVT Ltd. Shakaib then worked as an HR Executive at People Management Services, where they were responsible for recruiting qualified candidates and providing end-to-end recruitment services. In 2016, they joined Karwan-E-Hayat as an HR Assistant, where they managed attendance, leave records, and payroll processing. Shakaib also worked as an HR Officer at MUFG, where they handled daily attendance, leave applications, and maintained leave records. In 2019, Shakaib became a Human Resources Consultant at Baitussalam, before joining Nisum in 2017. At Nisum, they held various roles, including HR Executive, Senior Executive People & Culture, Assistant Manager People & Culture, and currently serving as Deputy Manager People & Culture. In their roles at Nisum, they contributed to the development of sustainability and synergies task forces. Shakaib Farooqui obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from Karachi University between 2009 and 2010. In addition to their formal education, they obtained additional certifications in Talent Sourcing and Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in October 2020.
