Isha Mahajan

Isha Mahajan is a Research Specialist at NIZO, with a background in food biotechnology and research experience spanning several prominent companies. Previously, Isha worked as a Research Project Assistant at Chr. Hansen, focusing on the stability of microbial probiotics. Isha's experience includes an R&D Laboratory Internship at The Kraft Heinz Company, where skills in microbiological analysis, recipe formulation, and data interpretation were developed. Isha has also conducted research during a master's thesis at Wageningen University & Research on the production of dairy starter cultures. An early career involved training at Mapro Foods and a summer internship at Serum Institute of India Limited, providing exposure to various aspects of food production and quality control. Isha Mahajan holds a Master of Science in Food Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology.
