Jeff Pabian

System Operations at Nobl

Jeff Pabian has had a varied career, beginning with a role as an Application Developer at AIM Careerlink in 2007. Jeff then moved to Nebraska.gov in 1997, where they were an Application Developer. During this time, they developed some of the first internet tax collection applications in collaboration with the Nebraska Department of Revenue and created dozens of licensure applications across numerous state agencies. Jeff also learned to love VIM, Perl, PHP, and the Unix Operating System. In 1996, Jeff worked as a Shift Driller for the Pico - Polar Ice Coring Office and the AMANDA project at the Amundsen-Scott Base in South Pole, Antarctica, for which they were awarded the National Science Foundation's Antarctic Service Medal. Jeff completed six 1.8km x 50cm boreholes in the polar ice sheet for the AMANDA project, as well as all duties associated with the set-up, maintenance, and operation of the ice drilling system. Most recently, Jeff has been a Support Engineer at Nobl since 2018.

Jeff Pabian attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1983 to 1988, studying Architecture. Jeff has obtained a variety of certifications since then, including Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in 2017, Nebraska Hunter Saftey Instructor from the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission in 2015, National FITASC Referee from the National Sporting Clays Association in 2005, OSHA 40 Hr. HAZMAT FIRST RESPONDER from Spartan Environmental in 1996, General Drilling, Rotary [Mud], Reverse Circulation, Auger [HSA] - Endorsement from the National Ground Water Association in 1995, Heavy Metals and Sludge Analysis from Hach in 1995, Barioid IDP Mud School from BAROID LIMITED in 1995, CLASS A CDL + Tanker Endorsement from MOTOR VEHICLES, NEBRASKA DEPARTMENT OF in 1995, NIOSH 582 PCM Analysis from Texax A&M University in 1994, Basic and Advanced Drinking Water Analysis from Hach in 1994, Licensed Pump Installer from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services in 1995, and Licensed Water Well Contractor from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services in 1995.
