AnaMichele Babyak works closely with the Vice President of Business Development to generate and support leads and assist in the coordination of sales and processing. She also supports the strategic direction of the firm and its products and services.
AnaMichele has a background working for both grassroots and institutional nonprofits in DC. In 2019, as the Development and Communications Manager, she helped launch the Museum of the Palestinian People (MPP), the first ever museum for Palestinian arts and culture in Washington, DC. She created and established a successful membership program for MPP, ran several large donor events and opening ceremonies and worked with the Executive Director and Board to run a successful campaign which enabled the opening of the museum. Subsequently, AnaMichele began working for the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History as the Annual Giving Advancement Associate. In this role she coordinated VIP events, conducted mission-critical data analysis and reporting and helped take the membership program to the next level. She also stepped in as an assistant supporting the Executive Director of Development with strategic coordination and planning for major gift operations. AnaMichele is a self-starter and always looking for creative solutions. She keeps people at the center of her work and is dedicated to fostering positive relationships with team members and clients.
AnaMichele holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from George Mason University. She is passionate about community building and bringing people from diverse backgrounds together to learn about each other. AnaMichele has led interfaith dialogue groups in the local Northern Virginia area for four years and she regularly volunteers with several DC area nonprofits to support recent immigrant families, and resettlement and professional development for refugees and asylum seekers. In her free time she pursues many artistic endeavors as a photographer, dancer, singer and pianist.
