Luigi Carola began their work experience as an Italian Chef at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts in April 1994. Luigi then became an Executive Chef at the same company from June 1996 to June 1998. In 1998, they joined Unilever as a Senior Development Chef until June 2004. From June 2004 to December 2008, they served as the Corporate Chef for Asia, Africa, and the Middle East at Unilever. Following this, they held the position of R&D Manager/Lead Chef at Unilever from January 2009 to March 2021. Currently, they are the Head of Food and Beverage at NORDSEE GmbH, starting from March 2021.

Luigi Carola attended the I.P.A.S Hotel Management School "Ippolito Cavalcanti" from 1978 to 1981. During this time, they pursued a Diploma of Education and Culinary Management with a focus on culinary skills and hotel/restaurant management.
