Dwayne Beamon

Dwayne Beamon has worked as a CIO at the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State since October 2013. Prior to this, they worked as a CISO at the NC Department of Revenue from August 2005 to September 2013.

Dwayne Beamon began their education journey in 2004 at East Carolina University. Dwayne pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology with a specialization in Computer Security, completing their studies in 2008. Afterward, they enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2014 to 2015 and obtained a degree named CGCIO in Government. In 2019, Dwayne briefly attended Harvard University, focusing on Cybersecurity.
