Robert Young

Robert Young is an experienced professional with a strong background in planning, development, and environmental management. Currently serving as Assistant Director at North Norfolk District Council since December 1997, Robert has successfully managed teams and projects related to climate change, coastal management, and housing provision. Notable achievements include establishing the Climate and Environment team, formulating the Environment Charter, and project managing significant developments such as the new leisure centre in Sheringham. With prior roles including Head of Economic & Community Development and Senior Planner at various organizations, Robert holds a Post Graduate Diploma and a Bachelor's Degree in Town Planning Studies from Birmingham Polytechnic, complemented by foundational education in mathematics, physics, and law.
