The North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) is the state designated Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) for the counties of Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall. NTBHA was created to be a safety net for our behavioral health system of care, which encompasses mental health, substance use, and crisis services for persons eligible for Medicaid and/or public behavioral health funds within our six county region.

The Care Coordination and Community Health team at North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) focuses on integrating and managing comprehensive behavioral health services within the community. They provide personalized care coordination, critical time intervention, community outreach, and education on mental health first aid. Their roles involve liaising with behavioral health partners, supporting individuals through various stages of mental health and substance use recovery, and promoting healthy community initiatives across Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, and Rockwall counties.
