David Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. David started as a Research Technologist at the Cleveland Clinic in 1994 and later became a Sales & Leasing Consultant at the Hendrick Automotive Group in 2005. David also worked as a Violinist for various orchestras, including the Napa Valley Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, Berkeley Symphony, and Oakland Symphony. In 2012, David joined Dolby Laboratories as a Listening Test Participant. David then transitioned to FieldSolutions as an IT Technician from 2014 to 2015. Currently, they are a Staff Research Associate at NCIRE - The Veterans Health Research Institute, where they work as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
David Cheng obtained a Certificate in Clinical Trials Design and Management from San Francisco State University in 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Case Western Reserve University between 1989 and 1994, focusing on Music Performance, Biology, and Photography. In addition, David Cheng also holds certifications in A+ and Net+ from CompTIA, obtained in August 2009.
