Daniel Pierce has extensive experience in energy management and dispatching, currently serving as a Relief Dispatcher and Schedule Coordinator at NCPA since January 2018. Previous roles include System Dispatcher and Schedule Coordinator, where responsibilities involved economic dispatching and market bidding in compliance with industry regulations. Prior to NCPA, Daniel held the position of Senior Real-Time Asset Manager at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, overseeing asset management and market analysis. Daniel also led a team as the Lead System Operator at NaturEner USA and Canada, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for multiple wind farms. Early career experience includes roles in food service management and an internship as a Solar Analyst, contributing to commercial and utility-scale solar project development. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Sonoma State University and multiple degrees in architecture and culinary arts.
