Rodney Ervin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in recreation, community relations, and career advocacy. Currently serving as the Regional Coordinator for Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association since December 2023, Rodney oversees recreational programs for Northwest McHenry County. As a Consultant for Wolfe Sports & Entertainment LLC since May 2019, Rodney contributes to company growth through marketing and program management. Previous roles include Athletic Manager at Foss Park District, where Rodney coordinated the North Chicago Flames football team and developed youth sports feeder programs, and various positions in support and career advocacy, including at the Special Education District of Lake County, Express Employment Professionals, Clearbrook, Business and Career Services, Inc., and Helping Hand Center. Rodney holds a Master’s degree in Communication from Walden University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Eureka College.
