Peter Mahoney

Peter Mahoney is the Director of Experiential Learning and Career Services at Notre Dame College. Peter has also served as the Executive Director of Information Technology at Hiram College, the Chief Information Officer at Saint Vincent College, and the Manager of Production Systems & Communications at Fairmont Supply. Prior to their work in higher education, Peter worked as a programmer for McDonald's Corporation and Roy M. Moffitt Company. Peter began their career as a Research Technologist at Northwestern University.

Peter Mahoney has a MBA in Business Administration from Waynesburg University, a Certificate in Computer Studies from Northwestern University, and a BA in Biology from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Peter is also certified by PeopleCert as a Certified Agile Service Manager, EXIN as an ITIL V3 Foundations Professional, Project Management Institute as a PMP, and U.S. Department of Homeland Security as a Certified IS-00100.HE Incident Command (Introduction to the Incident Command System), Certified IS-00200.b ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action (Operate efficiently during an incident), and Certified IS-00800.b National Response Framework (Principles on how to respond to disasters).

Peter Mahoney reports to J. Michael Pressimone, College President. They work with Ken Palko - Associate Professor, Chair, Arts & Humanities Division, Head, Philosophy & Theology; & Chair, Notre Dame Honors Scholars Program, Dan Ungar - Advisor, and Paula Baughn - Director, Communications.
