Xiao-Xiang Yu

Xiao-Xiang Yu is a Senior Scientist at Novelis since June 2020, specializing in aluminum alloy development and the advancement of materials characterization and computational methods. Previously, from October 2014 to May 2020, Xiao-Xiang Yu served as a Research Assistant Professor at Northwestern University, where significant work involved high-temperature oxidation and aqueous corrosion experiments alongside the exploration of oxide microstructure and composition utilizing advanced characterization techniques. Educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University.
