Rafael Amado

Rafael Amado has eight years of work experience. Rafael began their career in 2010 as a Training Consultant at Techknowledge Treinamento. In 2012, they moved to Claro as a Senior Engineer. In 2014, they held two positions, one as an Engineer/Contract Manager at UNIVESP and one as a Core Engineer Specialist at SKY Brasil. In 2018, they became a Telecommunications Engineer at HUGHES do Brasil, where they were part of the Brazil Engineering team responsible for E65W (Eutelsat 65 West Satellite). Rafael then moved to Synchromedia Laboratory in 2019 as a Laboratory Research Assistant. Most recently, in 2021, they joined NoviFlow Inc. as a Technical Support Team Lead and Technical Support Engineer.

Rafael Amado has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2004-2008). Rafael then obtained an Interchange & Extra Courses in Computer Networks and Mobile Communications from Universidad de la República (2008). Rafael then earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2009-2012). In 2016, they obtained a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from Cisco. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science - MSc in Software Defined Networks from École de technologie supérieure (2019-2022).
