Katie Johnson

Katie Johnson, Ph.D., has a strong background in research and analytics. Katie is currently working at NRC Health, where they have held multiple roles including Senior Director of Research & Analytics and Director of Research and Analytics. In these positions, Katie has led high-performing teams, engaged in research and thought leadership in healthcare, and served as an expert resource for statistical and industry knowledge. Katie has also been responsible for all aspects of research, methodology, and data integrity for a nationwide syndicated survey. Prior to NRC Health, Katie worked as a Research Consultant at IBM Kenexa, providing advanced analyses and consulting support for employee engagement assessments. Katie began their career as a Research Assistant and later became an Instructor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where they taught courses on social research methods and drugs and society.

Katie Johnson Ph.D. earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2000. Katie then pursued their Master of Arts in Sociology at the same institution, completing it in 2004. Katie continued their education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and obtained their Ph.D in Sociology in 2007. Prior to their time at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, they studied Environmental Studies and Sociology at Northland College from 1995 to 1997.
