Mark Gaffney has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and research fields. Mark started their career at Alltech in 2003 as a research intern, where they conducted research on lactase enzyme production and gene expression. After completing their Ph.D., they continued working at Alltech as a Ph.D. researcher, focusing on cataloguing research findings and ensuring laboratory compliance. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a research associate at Alltech, where they specialized in synthesizing and evaluating novel antimicrobial solutions for the animal feed sector.
