David Apps

David Apps has worked in the automotive industry since 1998. David began their career at DaimlerChrysler as a Stamping Maintenance Supervisor and a Murata Systems Operator. In 2002, they joined Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada as a Manager of Safety and Security, a Manager of Press/Weld Engineering and Maintenance, a Press Engineering Assistant Manager, a Press Engineering Specialist, and a Weld Engineering Specialist. In 2012, they moved to Maple Leaf Foods Inc as a Reliability Leader in Hamilton New Build. In 2013, they joined Tesla Motors as a Director of Press/Body Centers and a Senior Manager of Manufacturing in the Press Center. In 2017, they moved to Tesla as a Director of the Press Center. In 2018, they joined BYTON as a Director of Advanced Manufacturing. In 2020, they joined Nikola Motor Company as a Senior Director of Advanced Manufacturing. Finally, in 2022, they joined Atlis Motor Vehicles as the Vice President of Operations.

David Apps obtained a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto between 1994 and 1998. David also obtained a B.A. in David'story/Mathematics from the University of Toronto between 1990 and 1998.
