Moriah Thomason, Ph.D., is currently the Barakett Associate Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Population Health at NYU Langone Health, a position held since July 2018. Prior to this role, Moriah served as an Adjunct Research Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan's Institute for Social Research from 2013 to July 2018 and as Director of the Unit on Perinatal Neural Connectivity at the National Institutes of Health from March 2011 to July 2018. Moriah's academic journey includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Stanford University from September 2006 to August 2011 and a Visiting Researcher role at UCLA's Department of Neurology. Educationally, Moriah earned a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Stanford University and holds a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, along with additional training as a Visiting Scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
