Dr. Jeffrey Miller serves as interim vice president and director of ORAU’s Health, Energy and Environment Programs. In this role, he has overall responsibility for programs to evaluate occupational and environmental health, estimate radiation dose, perform health surveillance and epidemiologic studies, support emergency and medical preparedness, provide health communications and training, deliver health physics education and training, measure atmospheric and ecological conditions, evaluate organizational culture and provide forensic testing support. He directs a group of more than 200 professional staff, including physicians, nurses, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, health educators, health physicists, chemists, environmental scientists, ecologists, and social scientists.
