Jeff Backlund

Jeff Backlund has a extensive and diverse work experience in the seafood industry. Jeff started their career at Trident Seafoods in 1996 as a Plant Manager. Jeff then moved on to North Pacific Seafoods in 1999, where they served as the Manager of Corporate QA and Regulatory Affairs until 2014. In 2008, they became the Vice President at North Pacific Seafoods, a position they held until 2014. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Ocean Beauty Seafoods, first as the Director of Special Projects and later as the Kodiak Island Operation Manager. Currently, since 2020, they are the Vice President of Operations Administration at OBI Seafoods, LLC.

Jeff Backlund attended the University of Washington from 1982 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science.
