Steve Chaney

Steve Chaney has held several positions in the technology industry since 1996. Steve began their career as an Account Executive at Pacific Access Computers. Steve then moved to Advanced Systems Group as a Senior Account Executive in 1998. In 2008, they joined Hitachi Data Systems as an Account Executive. In 2015, they began working at IBM Cloud Object Storage as a US Sales Manager, Comms/CSI Market, National Service Provider Sales, and Senior Sales Account Executive. In 2017, they joined Rubrik, Inc. as the Director, Service Provider Sales, Americas. Most recently, in 2021, they began working at Ocient as the Service Providers and Strategic Accounts, where they are responsible for engineering a revolutionary compute adjacent storage architecture designed for NVMe SSDs to maximize compute at the IO layer.

Steve Chaney received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Puget Sound.
