Juana González-Bueno has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Juana began their career in 2012 as a Tennis Instructor at Vacances Vivantes. In 2015, they worked as a Biomedical Engineer Intern at Meirovich Consulting and later as a Biomedical Engineer Student Intern at Hospital Universitario Infanta Leonor. Concurrently, they also served as a Research Assistant for their Master's project at Robolabo. In 2017, Juana joined Visulytix as a Junior Data Scientist before being promoted to the role of Data Scientist in 2018. Currently, they are employed at Odin Vision, where they started as a Junior Research Scientist in 2019 and has since been promoted to Senior Research Scientist.

Juana González-Bueno attended Lycée Français de Madrid from 1997 to 2011, completing their secondary education. Juana then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Biomedical Engineering from 2011 to 2015 at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, focusing on bioengineering, biomechanics, and medical devices.
After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Engineering from 2015 to 2016 at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Subsequently, they enrolled at Imperial College London from 2016 to 2017 to pursue a Master of Research (MRes) in Medical Robotics and Image-Guided Interventions.
Currently, Juana González-Bueno is pursuing a Ph.D. in Medical Imaging with a specialization in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at UCL. Juana'sPh.D. program started in 2020 and is expected to continue until 2024.
