Leif Skaar

Leif Skaar has a diverse work experience in engineering and management roles. Leif is currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Odyssey Technical Solutions since May 2017. Prior to this, they worked as the President and Engineering Consultant at Media Dimensions, Inc, specializing in RF power delivery systems and engineering management processes. Leif also has experience as a Senior Engineering Manager at Advanced Energy Industries, leading the development of RF generators and matching networks. Leif has held the position of Director of Product Development Engineering at Quantum Corp, Quantum Inc, and Exabyte, where they were responsible for the design and development of various products. Leif's career also includes serving as the VP of Medical Device Engineering at Telectronics, where they led a team in the development of life-critical medical devices.

Leif Skaar attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1968 to 1972, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (BSEL).
