Evert Urbanus

Evert Urbanus has a diverse work experience in the field of tax and finance. Evert started their career in 1985 at the Dutch Ministry of Finance, where they served as a Member of the Study Group Strategy and Structure. From there, they joined the Dutch Tax Administration in 1986 as an Inspector Corporate and Personal Income Taxes. In 1998, Evert joined ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and held various roles, including Senior Tax Advisor, Head of Dutch Tax, and Deputy Head of Tax.

In 2016, Evert transitioned into interim tax management, working as the Interim Global Tax Manager at Oikocredit until 2019. Evert also founded their own company, Urbanus Interim Tax Support, in 2015.

During their career, Evert has provided tax advisory services to organizations such as Glastuinbouw Nederland, LTO Nederland, and ZuivelNL. Evert served as a Tax Advisor to these organizations, offering their expertise in tax matters.

Most recently, Evert worked as a Tax Counsel a.i. at Oikocredit and as an Interim Tax Specialist at ZLTO. Evert joined these organizations in 2021 and 2020, respectively.

Throughout their career, Evert has gained extensive knowledge and experience in tax advisory, interim tax management, and finance, making him a valuable asset in the field.

Evert Urbanus began their education in 1972 at St Maartenscollege in Voorburg, where they earned a high school diploma in exact sciences in 1977. Following that, they attended Utrecht University from 1977 to 1983, obtaining two master's degrees in civil law and notarial law. Lastly, from 1985 to 1986, Evert pursued further studies at the University of Amsterdam and completed a master's degree in fiscal law.
