Beatriz Marques

Beatriz Marques has a comprehensive background in data engineering and development. Beatriz currently works as a Data Engineer at OKRA.ai since February 2022. Prior to that, they were a Data Developer at Coolblue from August 2019 to February 2022. Beatriz also gained experience as a Summer Intern at Hospital de Santa Maria in July 2017, where they worked in the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Additionally, they completed a Master Thesis Project at the IN+ Center for Innovation, Technology, and Policy Research from February to December 2018, where they developed a proof of concept for evaluating nasal obstruction. Beatriz completed this multidisciplinary project by combining signal processing, fluid mechanics, and medicine, and conducted experimental work to validate the technique.

Beatriz Marques obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico from 2013 to 2016. Beatriz then pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they participated in an Erasmus+ exchange program at Politecnico di Torino, where they also pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2016 to 2017.
