John M.

John M. has extensive work experience in package development and engineering. John began their career as a Packaging Engineer at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, where they worked on improving the packaging component specification system. John then moved on to Combe Incorporated, where they served as a Package Development Engineer, managing the package development, engineering, and project management functions for three brands. At The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., John worked as a Package Development Consultant, overseeing the development of skincare and color cosmetics launches. John later joined L'Oréal as a Manager of Package Development, where they managed the product development for the Maybelline color cosmetics category and played a key role in over 20 global launches. At Artistry Cosmetics / Amway, John served as a Senior Technical Package Development Engineer and later as a Senior Research Scientist Open Innovation, championing the development of the enterprise-wide packaging innovation strategy. John then worked as a Business Development Manager at International Cosmetic Suppliers Limited, where they assessed business performance and implemented strategies to increase sales. John also served as a Packaging Engineering Consultant at Evoke Package Design, LLC, where they supported clients with new product launches and operational initiatives. Currently, John is the Director of Package Development & Engineering at Olaplex Inc., responsible for strategic initiatives, new product development, and packaging sustainability. John is leading efforts to reduce the environmental footprint of products through the use of bio-based resins and chemical PCR technologies.

John M. completed their education from 1996 to 2001. During this period, they attended Rutgers University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering. Additionally, from 1996 to 2000, they also obtained a BS in Engineering with a concentration in Packaging from the same institution.
