Dr. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Martin Liss

Dr. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Martin Liss has worked in various roles in the scientific field since 2003. Dr. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) began their career as an Intern at PROTEKUM Umweltinstitut GmbH Oranienburg in 2003. In 2006, they worked as a Junior Researcher at The Queen's Medical Center, where they studied mast cells in inflammatory responses. In 2007, they worked as a Graduating Student at FMP Berlin, researching cell-cell contacts. From 2008 to 2019, they worked at the Max Delbrück Center, where they served as a Translational Scientist & Head of Technology, a Doctoral Student, and a Technical Assistant. Most recently, they have been a R&D Scientist at OMEICOS Therapeutics GmbH since 2019.

Dr. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Martin Liss began their education in 1995 when they attended Secondary school qualifying for university admission (Gymnasium) M\u00fcncheberg, where they obtained their Abitur in 2002. Dr. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) then studied Biotechnology at Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin (BHT) from 2004 to 2008, graduating with a Graduate Engineer for Biotechnology (Dipl.-Ing.) [FH]. In 2008, they began their Doctor of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) program at Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin, which they completed in 2014 in the Department of Biology, Chemistry & Pharmacy. In 2015, they obtained a GMP Basic Course (Biotechnology) certification from BPI.
