Cecily Smith

Cecily Smith has extensive work experience in the field of academic advising and support. Cecily started their career as an Admissions Counselor at the University of Houston in 2013 and subsequently held various roles, including Undergraduate Academic Advisor, Graduate Academic Advisor, and Program Manager II. In these positions, Cecily managed graduate degree objectives, organized department events and programs, created and distributed email marketing communication, and utilized various databases to disseminate information. Cecily also worked as a Senior Academic Tutor at Sharpstown High School for a brief period. Currently, Cecily serves as the Director of Postsecondary Support at OneGoal.

Cecily Smith holds a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration and Supervision, which they obtained from the University of Houston between 2013 and 2014. In 2022, they successfully completed a Graduate Certificate in Project Management and Process Improvement from the University of Houston-Downtown. Prior to their Master's degree, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Houston, which they completed from 2008 to 2012.
