Marvin Teubner

Marvin Teubner has extensive experience in private equity and non-executive director roles. Marvin began their career as an Investment Professional at Warburg Pincus, where they focused on growth equity and LBO investing in pan-European companies. Marvin later joined Rhone Capital as a Senior Associate, where they gained experience in buyout and growth capital transactions in various sectors. Marvin also served on the boards of Greek Yellow Pages and Quiksilver during their time at Rhone Capital. In 2011, Marvin joined Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan as Managing Director, leading their private equity investments in the EMEA region. Marvin has since held non-executive director positions at companies such as Logoplaste, Techem Energy Services GmbH, Lowell, CeramTec, SYNLAB, OVS S.p.A., and Burton's Biscuit Company.

Marvin Teubner has a diverse educational history. Marvin attended Columbia University from 1998 to 2002 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics-Operation Research. In 2000 to 2001, they also had the opportunity to study at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as part of their General Course, focusing on Economics/Operations Research. Prior to their university studies, Marvin completed their Abitur, the German equivalent of a high school diploma, at Schule Schloss Salem from 1989 to 1997.

Additionally, Marvin has pursued further certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In 2006, they obtained a Foundation certification from the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA). Marvin later acquired the Skills of Negotiation certification from the same institution in 2007. Most recently, in June 2019, Marvin completed a certification in Effective Leadership from the BVCA.
